PLC simulator/emulator released
Posted by Niklas on 28 May 2002, 17:26 GMT

Kuashio has released has released TI-PLC, a PLC simulator/emulator for the Ti-89. The program is based around ladder programming and has a variety of controls and tools to play with. It also supports controlling stuff through the link port, and therefore comes with schematics for building an interface (and a weird example for it that can be a great learning experience :) ).

More TI-89 stuff from the same author can be found on his homepage.

BTW, as you've probably seen over the last few days, we're working our way through the pending files and hope to be back to near-instantaneous (meaning within 24hrs) file adding soon.

Funny how 3 posts say "first post," and none of the first five say anything more than "cool program" that is relevent.

I haven't checked it out (seeing as how I don't have an 89) but if my parents decide to get me a late birthday present (<hint> <hint>) this will probably be one of the first things I download.

Also, nice work (again) to the archive staff. I haven't seen much worth downloading, but that's not their fault.

Well, seeing as how I do have an 89 I'll try it. And that thing about a late birthday present, that's kind of how I got mine. It was purchased on March 15 and my birthday is January 7. That counts as a late birthday present, right? BTW, cool program. Really.

(Drumroll)

w00t! (Did I do that right?)

Okay, let's talk about porting Roller Coaster Tycoon to the TI-89, after all, it WAS written in assembly, I think.
