Winamp Plugin for TI-89/92+

TI-Winamp

More news from the TI-Hardware front...Carlos Becker has released a program for the TI-89 and TI-92+ that can be used in conjunction with a Winamp plugin to transform your calculator into a remote control of sorts. The setup requires a link cable (nearly all types are supported) to transfer the information.

Proceed to download the TI-Winamp package.

Update (Eric): The link to the required DLL file is invalid in the documentation of TI-Winamp. You can get it at SourceForge instead. Download the libticables-2.2.0.tar.gz archive, uncompress, and copy libticables.dll into the windows/system folder.

This is definately winamp.com worthy! You should submit it if you haven't already. It'll probably take a couple of weeks for them to post it though. I'm anxious for a 86 version.

Speaking of winamp.com...

While browsing thru the plugins there, I noticed Issac (the founder of ticalc.org)'s picture next to one of the output plugins on winamp's webpage. 3rd or 4th page worth of plugins. Click the above link to goto the info thing for the plugin.

*shrug*

I spell Windows "Windoze" because I use Linux. Windoze. Yes...

win-doze as in dozing off as in sleeping as in what you do when you're waiting for it (or any other program) to load.

...

REEEEEAAAALLLYYY?

well, Windows XP took 15 minutes to display the 'Workstation Locked' dialog when there was a memory leak in Explorer... which happens every time I open one specific folder on my computer... which is damned annoying.

15 MINUTES. I wrote a program in VB6 that did the same thing and loaded in about... what, 10 seconds?

Micro$oft Windoze XP: Xtra Painful.

So...Does anyone know why the 1.13 83+ OS does not work with VTI?

Even better, does anyone know of a TI-83+ Emulator for Linux?

hmmm...

ok, I downloaded the latest non-developer's version of it, compiled, installed it fine. Put my rom image in the ~/.TilEm/ folder. When I run it, it comes up with a TI-83+ and does nothing.

"does nothing" = I can't get it to show any sign of working.

It had the TilEm logo on the screen the first couple of times I ran it, but after that, the screen is just black.

Had same results with the latest developer's version...

You have to download the libticables library (read the .txt files) from tilp.sourceforge.net, Roms made it, without it the plugin wont work

ok... palm-amp lets you control winamp completely from your peepee(palm pilot) via hot-sync cradle... is that what this does?
