Monster v0.10 Released
Posted by Eric on 5 November 2001, 19:25 GMT

Patrick Davidson has released the first version of a new game he's been working on, Monster v0.10 for the TI-89 and TI-92+. It's a grayscale breakout-type game that's similar to the others, except that it features nifty horizontal scrolling and some other cool features as well. Check out his homepage for more information.

So true. Anyway, I hope (and I think everyone else agrees) that hopefully it won't be long until the archives are back.

WOOHOO A NEW GAME
dicecake

Was waiting for a new ti-92 game. Although I play more often on my cybiko now. Has anyone in this message board have a cybiko? I think it is as good as one of these ti calcs. Has most function as the ti-8x with some communication tools and over 438 program/games. If anyone wants one of these cybiko's goto cybiko.com and purchase one online.

PS If anyone wants a 10% discount with some $150 cybiko cash(cybiko cash is money used at cybiko.com to purchase other cool stuff for free) use this secret code when ordering online :CD8358

Nice advertisement... guessing you work for them and get some sort of commission whenever someone uses that code... oy. Please don't advertise here. That is not why this message board is here.

i have a cybiko... they are the gayest things in the entire world... my batteries last for about 5 minutes, and i can't use the so called "WIRELESS" crap cus no one else has one.. when i got one i thought it was "WIRELESS INTERNET"... cus in their ads they would say "IT'S WIRELESS" and immediately follow by saying "DOWNLOAD GAMES AND MP3'S FOR FREE FROM THE INTERNET" and then "FREE AIRSPACE" - cmon! free airspace??? it's the same freeking thing as a walky talky.

Airspace: You can fly it, apparently. Or maybe you just think you can.
Wireless: You don't have to plug it in.
Download games: To your computer.

Interesting.

Just tried it. Great game, though it feels a little jumpy compared to non-scrolling breakout clones (*noid) 'cuz of the movement every time you move your paddle.

I'm not trying to put down this game any (because its pretty good for version .10), but the ball seems likes it doesnt move in a straight line, it looks kinda jittery.

Well... Since the economy is changing, people are becomming more and more afraid of spending money and are puting it in banks. From the paradox of thrift and the derived idea from a lower consumption yeilding a lower source of income, the more you save the less you save. As people begin to save more and make less, the amount of cash in physical circulation will begin to decline (as will a decline in unemployment) making the dollar worth that much more.
So if you play the money market, you might end up making some money if you exchanged your dollars to rupees before the recession and where to exchange back now, but oh well...

Is there anyone here interested in helping me design an alternative shell to that of Microsoft's general Windows shell?

I've got a basic one working... it lets you run files, open documents, and browse folder... but not much else.

Now it has a clock, and it lets you change your resolution and perform various methods of shutting down the computer.
