New FLASH Apps from Detached Solutions
Posted by Eric on 27 August 2001, 00:05 GMT

Our pals over at Detached Solutions have recently released a couple new FLASH applications worth mentioning. First, Michael Vincent has released Virtual Calc for the TI-83+ SE. Virtual Calc is a nifty little multitasking application that allows you to create two virtual calculators on one. If you've got a TI-83+ SE, definitely give it a look.

Detached has also released a new version of Calcsys, v1.3, for the TI-73 and TI-83+. This version adds TI-83+ SE support as well as a few new console commands and various bugfixes.

Yea its odd......I come to the site once a day or every other day but I guess I got lucky with the first comments......Anyway.....Just wanted to comment on how slow things have been getting. Seems like there have been a major lack of updates. Add a fake news item or something

Yeah, those were funny. I can't believe something is out for the 73! Usually it's ingored, kind of like the 80's and 81's. But atleast the 73 is better. Too bad 82's got discontinued.

It seems that this article failed to recognize two other apps released, Calendar (Jason Kovacs) was ported to an app, and the Nifty formatted text reader (Peter-Martijn Kuipers). Calendar was, of course, released by DS, while Nifty was in the DS development contest.

Nifty bug fix
Peter Martijn Kuipers  Account Info

I fixed a bug some of you mentioned.
The use of tokens like "- ? / * If And" and the likes no longer disrupts token display.
Also, the bug of being able to select nonexistent files after pressing the clear button is fixed too.

You don't need the ')' at the end. Just type

send(9prgmSOMEPRGM

Actually, it doesn't matter since ')' is not required. The only thing why people omit this is to save whatever memory possible excluding this (1 byte I guess). Also, I thought that CRASH was a TI-82 ASM program. Is it right? If so, then it's not even supposed to work. Try ION or SOS instead, it should probably solve your problem.

No, typing the ')' at the end doesn't work, so it really does matter you don't type it.

"don't dis my homie konstantin"

I was just pointing him on the fact that. If it looked like I was dissing him, then I'm sorry.

"you're gay"

<gay>aahh, now I feel huurrt!</gay>

How low are you?
And the fact that Konstantin works more on your programs than you do, says a lot about your skills as a programmer. Let me guess what the other things are you're good at...

"<gay>aahh, now I feel huurrt!</gay>"

ya you better be hurt lol(they need to enable html stuff don't they?)

"How low are you? "

well..... i'm a few miles from the coast, so probably about 300 ft.

"And the fact that Konstantin works more on your programs than you do, says a lot about your skills as a programmer."

he does the art for one of my programs.. i was just saying that the part of the programs that he does probably takes more time than programming them.... which means i am a very gifted programmer if it doesnt take me very long to program stuff.

The spelling for Pikachu looks right. Well, I just said that "you're gay" was an 8 yr. old insult because I've heard a lot of little kids say that.

Yes, CrAsh (or however the capitalization is) is an 82 shell. It runs most 82 assembly games.

Although CrAsh is an 82 Asm shell,
it does not mean that the abovementiones prgmCRASH is this particular program, for all we know it is a program that crashes the calculator, or a program that's just called "CRASH"

I made a program that would crash the calculator. It was for the Crash on the 82. It worked.

It seems that a few things changes on the TI83 v1.10, therefore making a number of asm programs inrunnable,

You'll have to figure out which programs work and which don't
