New Mailing List Created: ti-math
Posted by Andy on 14 May 2000, 16:59 GMT

A new mailing list, ti-math, has been created. It is intended for the discussion of math-related topics regarding TI calculators. This can include, but is not limited to, programs that do math, how the calculator performs math, and math used in creating games. We hope that if you are interested you will subscribe.

Slightly OT: Doubt

I have a little doubt about mailing lists and I didn't want to bother TiCalc.
Where do I send a message to post? And how do I determine which thread it'll go to?

First, you have to subscribe. Then send your message to ti-math@lists.ticalc.org, and it's there immediately.

Or hit reply... should have tried that.
But, the second question remains. How do I know which thread it'll go to? I guess it makes no difference in the mailing list, but since it can be seen in the site, I thought there could be a protocol you should follow... guess not.
Also, do I need to put 'TI-M:' in the topic, or is that automatic? (good for automatic mail sorting...)

Ahem, is this thing on? I was just wondering, after signing up for this, how many people are actually on this list? Just wondering.
