TI-83+/84+ POTY Voting Opens
Posted by Ryan on 1 December 2013, 07:56 GMT

Welcome, one and all, to the beginning of the 2013 ticalc.org Program of the Year contest! There are a lot of great programs this year across all of the categories. A good number of programs were last-minute entries to the contest, so we urge you to make sure that you check out each and every program in order to make a well-informed, "calculated" vote for your POTY choice.

With that, let's start off with the TI-83/84+ POTY voting! We have a great range of entries that hail from various authors, categories, and styles. Let's take a look!

As always, the voting polls are on the right side of the homepage and will be open for this category for one week. So grab some spare batteries, fasten your thumb braces, and explore the grand gathering of games and goodies! Congratulations to each of the authors who made the cut this year. Every single feature listed here is well-deserved!

All of them are pretty impressive, but I'll think zMegaman really deserves it a lot, so my vote goes to that. ;)

Bubble Bobble helped me through many math classes in high school, so it gets the vote for me, though so many of these are great!

Although I'll feel like a traitor to my own Sandpaper not voting for it, Bubble Bobble was such a permanent resident on my calculator at one point that I agree it deserves a POTY

It's between zMegaman, Supersonic ball, Pokemon Topaze, and Ikagura. Those games will be uploaded to my calc to test this week.

Although there are so many great programs there and it was very hard to choose, this year it's Portal Prelude that did it to me.

Good luck to all contestants!
