Wow 82% for Super Mario 68K, that must be the highest a program ever got...

Congratulations to all winners!

Wow I am surprised that Graph3 got that many votes, considering it's not even a game nor a shell or anything game/programming oriented. COngrats for BrandonW for Noshell award, and this was pretty tight between your app, Bowling and Graph3, lot of competition it seems.

Also congrats for tifreakware for having got two programs eligible for POTY this year (Doom and Mario) and congrats to Lachprog for Mario award.

As for PC I think it is a first in ticalc history. I never seen a program win a POTY award twice before...

Congratulations to all participants, getting featured is a great achievement on its own. Great stuff to all the winners and keep on coding! :).

Wow. I'm glad to see that Noshell won! I think of it every time I launch SQRXZ simply by presssing 'Enter'. Also, Super Mario 68k was kind of destined for victory. It really stood head and shoulders above the rest.

I think the problem is that ticalc.org was have been too restrictive in which programs were featured during the year (since only featured programs can be voted on for POTY). For instance, my application CalcUtil was by sheer coincidence developed at the same time as Brandon Wilson developed his Noshell. The two applications fulfill the same function (CalcUtil actually does a lot more than Noshell does), but for some reason Noshell was featured and CalcUtil wasn't.

didnt calcutil used lot of routines from Noshell tho? THat may have been why it didn't got featured. I agree they were restrictive in program features tho. They even missed one great awesome RPG last year that should have been featured, on top of that the author emailed ticalc to get it featured iirc.

The routines that I used from Noshell were actually routines Brandon was using from MirageOS. I was just unsure how to disassemble the MirageOS source, so I asked Brandon if I could use his disassembled MirageOS source from Noshell, and he said yes. However, everything else, even the parts of Noshell and CalcUtil that do the same thing, was my original code.
