Yay! TiLP hasn't always worked for me before, but I'll see if this is a good alternative to TI Connect Mac.

Some remarks:
- TiLP2 supersedes TiLP which is _not_ maintained any longer.
- USB DirectLink & 89 Titanium are _not_ working under Linux

- but most of this tedious work has been done by Benjamin Moody on TI84+.

To clarify: this _combination_ is what is causing problems. The TI-84+ with DirectLink does work, and the Titanium works if you use a regular link cable (including the SilverLink).

I can finally get ti-connect of my computer now that fullly functional USB direct support is available

Not so sure about TiLP2...
I tried it out and couldn't even get it to see my Titanium... all the buttons were totally inactive.

So far Ti Connect seems to work pretty well as long as you are not trying to send strange file types to your calc.

did you read the article at all? the 89Ti and DirectLink don't work together under tilp-ii

I had the same problem with my 84+ and the USB cable. I tried everything I could think of but the buttons remained inactive. No error messages, but nothing worked. Can someone help me?

Wow I downloaded this in compsci because my teacher is so cool, and she had an extra cable.

Amazingly, i have not had any problems with TIConnect!
Unless this is a problem:
-I cannot send some files (i.e. Alandopolysis or whatever the crap that pinball game is called)to my calc, even thoiugh it is listed under 83+/84+...

Acelgloyobis. You have to rename the level files with uppercase at the prompt with TI-Connect, then rename them back to lowercase with CalcSys or the equivalent oncalc.

There's no need to rename them on the calc. Any name suffices, since the program is only concerned with the contents of the files.
