TIGCC v0.95 Released
Posted by Michael on 27 October 2004, 18:49 GMT

The final version (after twenty betas) of TIGCC v0.95 has been released. You can read about the changes from v0.94 at the TIGCC website. The source code and "alternative files" are also available.

Update (Joey): The Linux/Unix binaries and source have been updated, too.

If you want the Linux/Unix/OS X version, it is already up at http://tigcc.ticalc.org/linux/. I've just uploaded it to the archives a few minutes ago, now it's up to the archivers to confirm my 5 uploads (source, binary, setup wizard script, specfile, RPM). :-)

If you archivers read this: I would appreciate if this got done fast. Otherwise, you might give an impression of being biased in favor of Windows. ;-) But I do understand that my files aren't the only ones pending. :-)

All pending files are equal, but some are more equal than others.

ROTFLU that is a quote from "Animal Farm," which I'm studying in English class right now.

Original quote was: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal to others."

We just read a chapter of "animal farm" for a humanities class I'm taking...and it just happens to be the one from which that quote was taken! What a coincidence!

My English class has a test on Animal Farm tomorrow, and I'm studying for it right now!

Our class read Animal Farm in 5th grade. I hated it, and think I still would. I just hate books that humanize animals and use them as the main characters.

Same here! It's amazing how that book relates to Stalin and modern politicians.

Impress your friends and read it on your calc :) (see web page)

Ebooks were one of the major reasons for me to buy a titanium. And there wouldn't be any without TIGCC :)

I just read that book in english too. If you like books about communist societies and ideals check out "Mig Pilot". It's about that MiG-25 pilot that defected to the US. It really shows that the US was more communistic (if you look at the true meaning of communism) than the USSR ever was.

if you don't know what a muggle is, you definitely are one. And if you're not a muggle, you definitely know what one is. However, chances of non-muggles here at ticalc.org are low because non-muggles probably would not be using graphing calculators, although perhaps there are spies among us writing anti-muggle software for our calculators...

OK, so what you are saying is:

Muggle: (n) someone who does not know what a muggle is.

Warning! Trying to understand the above definition will result in a stack overflow!

No, it's quite simple: once you learn that a muggle is someone who doesn't know what a muggle is, you're no longer a muggle.

That's not the full definition of a muggle, so this doesn't really apply, though. :)

Orwell is OK, but my favorite is Dickens. Hugo is pretty good too, but I still like Dickens best. No other author that I have read comes even close to his superb character development.
