Program of the Month & Year awards
Posted on 1 January 1999, 01:00 GMT

This year the Program of the Month and Year awards will start again. There are some modifications that will make them better. At the first of every month, starting with the February 1999 issue, the newsletter will be released with nominations of programs from the previous month. There will be seven categories:

  • TI-82 Assembly
  • TI-83 Assembly
  • TI-85 Assembly
  • TI-86 Assembly
  • TI-89 & TI-92 Plus Assembly
  • TI-92 Assembly
  • TI-BASIC

Depending on the quality and quantity of programs for a particular month, there will usually be 3-8 nominations for each category. These will be chosen by Bryan Rabeler and Kirk Meyer. A week will be given for users to vote on these nominations using the survey system. On the 8th of each month, an addendum will be added to the newsletter and sent out to the mailing list with the results of the vote.

At the end of each year, all the winners of the monthly award in each category will be rounded up and voted on for the Program of the Year award. This will take place after the voting in January for the December winners.

I think, it's a very good idea, but I am not agree to regroup TI-89 & TI-92 Plus Assembly, because some very good programs for the TI92PLUS can not execute on the TI89 or inverse.

But maybe it's an another qualification tool.

So I will try to create programs which can run on the TI92PLUS and on the TI89.

Hey, what about Program of the Week? I take it that it's being dropped. Well then, can updates of programs qualify for the Program of the Month?

Program of the Week has been dropped.

Only fairly major updates of programs will be "reconsidered" from last year.

Le mieux je pense, c'est d'utiliser le Zguide de Zorglop.

Tu peux le trouver sur ce site, dans les documents parlant du 68k.
