Articles Migrated to News System
Posted on 30 July 1998, 22:31 GMT

We have been receiving regular responses to articles we've posted recently, so we decided to post articles as news items and allow on-the-spot comments like any other news item.

You can still find a list of links to our existing articles in the Features section, and the responses we've received so far are now viewable as comments to their respective articles.

To contribute an article of your own, please send it along to features@ticalc.org.

The comments below are written by ticalc.org visitors. Their views are not necessarily those of ticalc.org, and ticalc.org takes no responsibility for their content.

Good Idea :)
But I have two concerns. First, alot of the articles are very long. I don't think most people want to see the whole article on the news page. I'm not sure, but it seems to me as if that's how it's going to be. Also, make sure that you still put a link to the article on the article page. If you're looking for an article, it would be much better to go to the feature section than to browse through all the past news.

Besides that, I'm really glad that ticalc seems to be getting updated so much. I don't mean just adding programs, I mean adding new features. Good work guys! :)

The whole article will not be on the news page, just the announcement. Check out the previous articles, they have already been "convertered" over. That is how it will be. And yes, we are still putting all the articles in the Features section.
