Title Alien Encounters Demo
Description This is the demo of AE, a space shooter that will hopefully be just as fun to play as an ASM game. This is just a graphical demo. The gameplay isn't as good as it will be in the final release.

This game is extremely well-made. Not only does it have good graphics, but the gameplay is decent as well.

Of course, this is TI-BASIC. We can't expect miracles speed-wise, but “Alien Encounters” manages to pull it off. If it were a bit faster, it would be even more enjoyable to play. Despite this handicap imposed by the programming language, “Alien Encounters” stands out from most other TI-BASIC games: it has complex gameplay, many levels, special weapons, different enemies, good graphics, and decent key-responsiveness

“Alien Encounters” is definitely worth the download, and you might consider leaving it on your calculator, at least for a while. My only complaint is that its transition animations from one level to the next are too long and there's no way to skip them. 9/10
