Attention span: 7/10 Requires patience. Controls: 9/10 Nothing amazing. Implementation: 8/10 A nice version of vexed. Overall: 8/10 Can be frustrating at times.
Vexed v1.0 by Philippe Gervaise a.k.a. CandyMan is a puzzle game where the objective is to eliminate all the blocks on the screen. Blocks can be moved right or left, one block at a time. However, gravity applies, so some foresight is necessary before moving blocks. Blocks disappear when they are next to at least one other block of the same type. All blocks on top of them will fall. The levels are stored in external files, and the game comes with two of them. You can cycle through whichever levels you feel like playing.
This is a game that can be played whenever you have an extra minute, and then picked up again later. All the completed levels are recorded. However, some players may get frustrated by the difficulty of some of the levels. This game is for patient puzzle fans. |
