Attention span: 10/10 Very fun game, also has great replay value. Controls: 7/10 A four-button method might have worked better. Implementation: 9/10 Great port of the original version. Overall: 8/10 Pretty good overall game.
If you don't know what tron actually is, it is basically two lines that move (a little bit like nibbles), except the back of the line never goes anywhere, and you and a friend try to move around and trap each other without hitting the walls or the other person's "bike trail".
Graphically, this isn't exactly the type of game that would get an A+, but that's not what the game was meant for. It's a fun game; a very fun one, at that. It's great for you and a friend to play and it's semi-challenging to learn the controls since there are only two buttons.
The one bad thing that I found was the response time. It didn't turn as fast as I would like it to, but it was sufficient enough. The turning was also awkward at times, but you get used to it after awhile.
Overall, this is a very fun game and I suggest that anyone who is looking for a pretty neat two player game to get a hold of this. |
