Attention span: 8/10 I will not put it down until I come close to winning.
Controls: 9/10 Responsive, no awkard controls here.
Implementation: 8/10 Very good first attempt at an asm game.
Overall: 8/10 A must for gamers that are into

Arcade Volleyball is a simple Volleyball game where the player must be the first to score 16 points against the opponent. As easy as this sounds, it isn't. I found out that the opponent NEVER misses the ball, so the player must use some tactics to make the opponent bounce the ball more than three times on its side. This is also no small feat. In the whole month that I have had this game on my calculator, I have yet to score enough points to even come close to beating the opponent. But I shall not let my lack of calculator volleyball skills let the review be unfair. The gameplay in this game is good, or else I see no reason why I kept a game in my calculator for a month that I cannot beat. The graphics are simple, and that is to be expected for the speed of the game can be fast at times. I could not put this game down at times. Maybe it was because one game was kept at a lengthy session due to the fact that it can be tricky to score against the opponent. The controls of the game where very good most of the time, but there where times where I was 99.9(null)ure I would be able to get to the ball in time. Otherwise, the controls are very responsive and similar to any other game you have played. As far as I could tell, this game is original to 86's, but I may be wrong. The volleyball theme is implemented as well as it could be in my opinion. Considering other games I have reviewed, this is extremely very well written for a programmers first attempt at an ASM game.

In short, this is a game that people that like pong and other such games where the ball is continually bounced back and forth with no seeming end. The graphics are nothing to shout about, but the speed of the game is more than decent and sufficient. The controls are responsive for the most part, and are the same buttons that most calc games use. The game is original and fun to play, and is a very good attempt at a programmers first asm game.

Here's the game: You hit a volleyball over the net and try not to let it hit the ground. It's kind of like an improved pong but without power-ups or anything. This game would be fun if the computer wasn't so much faster than you. The AI in this game is hard to beat, and it rarely gives up points.
4/10
