This program is just very useful. It is extremely easy to use and opens the door to BASIC programmers quite a bit. There are many characters on the 86 that you can’t easily put into BASIC programs. That is where this program steps in. For example, how would you get the ASCII character of the blinking cursor into the source code of a BASIC program (you know the black cursor part)? With this program, you can just look up the character, because it lists all 236 of the 86's ASCII characters, and then stores it to the “Undel” variable that you can use when editing your BASIC program. This file also has ASM applications as well. When writing my own ASM programs, I can never remember the ASCII number for any characters, so I just look them up with this program and use the number in the ASM program.
So basically, it’s just a very helpful program for programmers, both BASIC and ASM. It is small and will take up hardly any room on your calculator. If you program, use this program to help enhance it. Great job! |
