Attention span: 7/10 Somewhat addictive, but gets old quickly

Finvaders is based on the arcade game Space Invaders. The objective is to save Earth from the alien invaders. You have to shoot all the alien ships before they reach the ground while dodging shots they drop on you. The ships move back and forth with increasing speed to increase the difficulty of the game. You earn points based on how many ships you shoot and how high up they are, so the basic goal of the game is to beat the high score. It's a typical classic arcade game.
The game is very well implemented on the 92. It looks almost exactly like the original game in both graphics and control. It's very simple to use. All you need to remember is the fire button. The game saves all the high scores and is fairly small, so there is lots of room for other games. Pretty much the only problem in the game occurs when you try to exit. The only way out is by pressing Q. This can be quite confusing and it would probably be better to use Esc for exit. Overall, this is an excellent classic game. |
