Attention span: 9/10 Addicting.
Controls: 4/10 Just doesn't respond when you need.
Implementation: 9/10 Nice graphics and speed.
Overall: 7/10 Quite hindered by controls.
Slopes for the ti-83 is a skiing game. This game is very much like SkiFree for the computer. For those of you who have never played SkiFree, Slopes is basically this: You are a lone skier on a god-forsaken mountain with many obstacles. You can steer the player around these obstacles but only left and right. If you hit something the game is over.
This game is quite addicting and is a nice fun game to have on your calc. The grapics are nice and it has nice speed. There is however, a major downfall. Maneuvering through levels can get very tricky at some places. It is in these places that you need precision. Unfortunately, the controls are often sticky and will make you lose sometimes even if you know you pressed the button in time.
I think that other than the controls it is a very nice game that is fun during math class. |
