Title Dragon Warrior v 0.1
Description This is a remake of Dragon Warrior for the NES for the TI-89 graphing calculator. Currently, the game is in an early version, with only basic functionality. There are only four maps (1 combat map) and 3 NPCs. I started this project a few years back and have only recently started working on it again. The game is going to be almost a facsimile of its original counterpart with only minor changes. The first change being that the game automatically saves every time you exit, so you do not have to go back to the king in order to save (I may change this, or make a "difficulty" setting or something in the final version). TI-89 RPGs are few and far between, so hopefully the finished product will satiate the demand. Dragon Warrior (AKA Dragon Quest) is a classic NES RPG wherein you fight monsters and... well, that's all I know about it at this point. This demo has only a few areas, NPCs, and abilities (no items, spells, or even doors), but I have high hopes for the final release. The major problem at this stage is that the character has no HP. So if you do anything in battle (against an adorable and probably wimpy Slime), you instantly die. But please do press on, Mr. McGuinn, and give the Titanium community hope for the future.
