“Megaball” sticks true to the all-time classic, “Breakout”. “Megaball” is unique, however, because there are powerups unlike any I have seen on a regular “Breakout” game. For one, there is the lazer, which is pretty sweet.
Some features could be improved on, though (one of the levels had a bug that the ball can loop around forever). Also, you never really know what a powerup will do, since it's not explained very well what each one looks like or does in the readme.
Even so, this game is up there.
Overall: 8/10 It's not as good as it's hyped up to be, but is still pretty good. |
