Description

This is a demo battle game similar but completely different then other games made for PC (especially that one made by Microsoft and Ensemble Studios). It will be completed in ASM with the help Will White and Tal Oz. (maker of AOE:Age of Calcs) If you're interested in the preview, please download this and look out for the complete game in ASM on many different platforms.

“Ancient Empires” is a fun game. I enjoyed the graphics and thought the game as a whole was very well made. There are popup menus that give you choice of what you want a building or unit to do. I really only have two semi big problems with this game. First, whenever you move a unit, you can only move one space, which got annoying because to move three spaces you would have to go through the unit's option menu three times. Second, whenever you have a peasant build a barracks the game replaces your peasant with the barracks, rather than keeping both, which lead to some gameplay resource issues. In the end, I really enjoyed playing “Ancient Empires.” |
