After I downloaded “Hangman 5.8,” I was quite surprised. It was very well designed, especially for BASIC! This game runs very quickly (except for drawing the person's head), and is very easy to use. The extra features (no [Alpha]-LOCK, word list with truly random phrases, make your own word lists, splash screens, graphics) are pretty cool also, even more so considering they are packed into a program just under 2500 bytes. The word list and word-list loader program add another 6000 bytes, but you only need one of them at a time. The ending was a nice surprise, but I won't give everything away.
