Agility is an awesome, fast BASIC scroller game. The object is to get as far as possible without hitting a *. The game has very low memory requirements, fast speed, and high score. The thing that sets this BASIC scroller aside from all the others is, that the longer you stay alive the narrower the track gets. So it becomes harder and harder to stay alive. The game is glitch free. Just check out the screenshots you'll see that this game is worth the download. By the way the screenshots are somewhat slow since I used TI Shot. You may know BASIC game scan be quite slow. This is not one of those. This game is simple, but is one of the better BASIC games put there. There's really not much to it, except dodging the starts, but its simplicity makes it all the better since it runs as fast as ASM
Speed: 10/10 the fastest BASIC game ever.
Gameplay: 9/10 easy controls, and fun gameplay.
Size: 10/10 no long installation processes, and the game only takes up about 850 bytes. It also has a high score that is saved to a list.
Graphics: 7/10 nothing special, just ASCII characters, but implemented in a way that looks like a space ship and stars.
Overall: 9/10 The most responsive BASIC game, and its simplicity makes it fun. It is one of the few BASIC games worth downloading. |
