Suitability: 9/10 Great 82 shell
Ease-Of-Use: 10/10 Text-Based interface
Overall: 9/10 ASH compatibility isn't perfect.

CrASH, written by Hideaki Omuro and Jeff Mears, is the most recent 82 shell. However, development on this shell has stopped.

However, this is currently the best 82 shell. CrASH is compatible with all ASh v3.0 games. In fact, at first glance, CrASH would appear to be identical to ASH. The interface is exactly the same. The major difference is the point of CrASH is not to crash. Gone is the 14KB size limit and the inability to fill your 82 to the maximum.

The only downside to CrASH is that some of the ASH games do not function correctly in CrASH.
