Attention span: 3/10 I had forgotten about this game 15 minutes after I played it.
Controls: 8/10 Good controls, not necessarily a complement.
Implementation: 5/10 (no comment)
Overall: 4/10 Uninspiring game, no replay value.
Archery is an extremely repetitive game where the player is to time the shot of an arrow so that it passes through a moving target and scores a hit. This game is by no means realistic. It does not offer any replay value whatsoever and was a complete waste of this reviewers time. To most gamers is will also be a complete waste of time and space, as this game only offers the chance to improve one's timing skills at pressing a button.
I can only recommend this game to some one without any taste for good games, has no time for better things, and has no way to get a better game into his calculator. The controls are well though out, but that is not really a compliment since any person should be able to have the left and right arrows move left and right, while the 2nd key fires something. The graphics are nothing to be excited about, as they are bland and unapealling. The collision detection is questionable at times, as one is able to make shots that go right by the target, and one is able to make misses that are completely inside the target. |
