Attention span: 10/10 It's Tetris. That explains it.
Controls: 10/10 They couldn't be better.
Implementation: 9/10 There's a small bug in the link routine.
Overall: 10/10 A must have for the boring class as well as multiplayer tournaments.
ZTetris is a clone of the ever-popular Tetris game that has been ported to all kinds of platforms. If you don't know what Tetris is, I suggest you download it now and see what you've been missing. The game offers all sorts of options, including "trash" lines, link play, selectable levels, and more. There are even changing patterns for each level, like the changing graphics on the computer. Jimmy did an awesome job with this.
Well, what can I say in the bugs paragraph? Sometimes the two player mode gets screwed up, but usually it is just a pause. Sometimes, however, it is necessary to quit the game or even remove the batteries in one or both of the calculators. The game even lets you link to a TI-85 or a TI-92 as well as a TI-86. Despite its hassles, the two player mode is a great feature. |
