Wallpaper Maker

Description
|
This is a program that lets you type anything in, and lets you put it as a wallpaper on your TI-89. The wallpaper will ALWAYS remain in the center of your screen (even when you change to the I/O, Home, graph, etc. screen). This is a nostub program written completely in C. Source code included.

When I saw the link to this program I said, "WOW!, I already have a screen saver, now a wallpaper would be just perfect." But when I actually ran the program, I was a little disappointed. Although, I have to give the author some credit for trying.
The way that the "wallpaper" is implemented is that the program puts some text on the screen and then the screen refreshes every second or something so that it "seems" like there is a wallpaper on the screen. But the refreshing rate isn't fast enough for wallpaper to remain static to the naked eye. But, anyways, there is also a problem that the toolbar disappears as soon as you install the program. Nice try. |
