Despite the claims of the thousands of BASIC "complete math packages", this program is, in my opinion, THE ultimate math reference for any graphing calculator. It displays a mind-numbing number of equations, rules, and instructions, all the way from the basic algebraic axioms to directions on balancing chemical equations. The information is organized into categories, which makes finding a specific equation easier. Unlike the other programs mentioned earlier, it's very fast, and doesn't take up much space on the calculator (being written in assembly). Again unlike the other programs, this one doesn't solve the equations presented, but that's not needed-it's easy to copy the relevant ones to paper, or just to remember them.
The controls are easy to figure out-Up, Down, and Enter for selecting menu items, and Enter for moving between pages. The only complaint I have here is with the process of moving between pages. Since you can only move forwards, if you want to look at something on an earlier page, you have to go to the end of the category you're in before starting at the beginning again. Since there are a lot of pages, this can be hard.
Even though it can be hard to navigate, I highly recommend this program, and it's DEFINITELY worth a download. |
