Attention span: 8/10 Sort of addicting. Controls: 9/10 Simple controls. Implementation: 8/10 Great game! Overall: 8/10 Fun game!
Mars Patrol 2.0 is a fun challenging game for the TI-83 Plus. It uses the ION shell. It is a very graphical game and runs very smoothly. In the beginning you can choose from a total of 256 courses. The point of the game is to guide your little mars car to its destination at the end of the course. The game is sort of fast-paced. There is no control to change that.
The controls are extremely simple. The right and left arrows to change the course number at the title screen. After you select the couse number just hit 2nd to start. In the game you press 2nd to shoot, either ALPHA or the UP arrow to jump. To pause press MODE, it will appear as if you have returned to the TI-OS, just press 2nd and you will return to the game. Finally press CLEAR to quit. |
